We used the great public transportation system to get from the airport to downtown, even in the rain.
Over the next couple days we went to the market on Granville Island, downtown and Stanley Park The downtown library is so beautiful

Vancouver is a fantastically bike-friendly town, in the park they have a separate lane-nicer for everyone!
