Vancouver has a really great Chinatown
It is only a few blocks.
But details like the dragons on the street signs
original buildings and a dedicated historical information make it a great visit. It is easy to take a short tour before heading into Dr. Sun Yat Sen Park-a highlight of every guidebook.
It packs everything into a small space. Bonsai
pavillion
modern calligraphy art (for sale),
koi and turtle pond,
sitting spots,
art
framed view of the pavilion.
And out the other side
monument to the Chinese workers. Great half day trip!
