Vancouver highlights June 2015

Vancouver, June 2015

New to a city?  Hop on hop off bus!  We took the tour to get the highlights of Vancouver-nice tour and great driver who told a few extra stories.

Lion's Gate bridge from Stanley Park.  Originally owned by the Guinness family who lived on the north side...

The Diving Girl, who is often clothed :)

 an ancient coastal cedar

Vancouver, the busy shipping port

A-maze-ing laughter, such fun art

One of those stone arrangements that they just don't know what its about.

Canada Place, the convention center, and cruise ship dock.

the Olympic flame cauldron

Yaletown's  steam engine

A mural near the city library, is actually carved!

On other days we ran around town on our own checking out a bunch of great stuff!
We needed a little bit of Japanese kimono silk...guess what, there is an expert in town!  Definitely check out Lorna's  if you are in town.

In one of the neighborhoods, a whimsical way to enclose your patio.

We rode the SeaBus!
