Best photo is thanks to my good photographer friend :)
Zion National Park is one of the most inspirational areas I've ever visited.
This means it is super popular, so they have a great shuttle system to get you around the tiny town and park. Yosemite has to get to this point, ban the cars, use only shuttles.
It is all due to this tiny little river, doing its thing for millions of years.
Erosion at its best!
I still want to go back to explore more of the area. These photos are a mix of a November trip and a July trip.
And maybe take better pictures-these really don't do it justice.
We got married and honeymooned in the area 20 years ago. The Zion Adventure Company got us gear and a class on orienteering (1998 brochure on the left, 2018 on the right)
So we decided to hold an anniversary party at the Bit N Spur, which was there 20 years ago! It was a gathering of fantastic people in a fantastic setting having a fantastic time.
The rock was pretty much covered in kids the whole time.
Do I always look like this? Maybe :)
Relatives are great :)
The Codexis connection-good times!
The guest book from the wedding-my cousin predicted that we would have a reunion 20 years later and here we are!!!!
Loved our photographs so much-she framed such cute pics. If you need photos, check out Katie at The Wild Within Us
Disembodied head photos have been a thing in the family for decades-here they let us join them!
We took some drives outside the park. It is all amazing.
